 Ecuador Restricts Trans-Fats
 On 07 November 2013 Ecuador's Health Ministry issued a regulation restricting trans-fatty acids in fats, vegetable oils and margarine sold directly to the consumer to two grams per 100 grams of fat. The measure also restricts trans fatty acids in fats, edible oils and inputs used in the food industry, bakeries, restaurants or catering services to the same levels.
