The maps linked here are mostly from two distinct sources: the color ones are from Reefbase, a wonderful databank on all matters pertaining to reef research and preservation; the black and whites, from the US National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). In each case, click on the thumbnail to go to the full-sized original on their website [NOTE: The NOAA maps are larger and more detailed]. In the case of Reefbase, you'll have to first get a (free) username and password, but if you deal with or are interested at all with reefs, you'll want to be registered with Reefbase anyway.
Warning: date(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected the timezone 'UTC' for now, but please set date.timezone to select your timezone. in /home/temasa5/public_html/tools/reefmaps.php on line 450
