20-25 January   The World Health Organization's (WHO) Executive Board (EB) will meet in Geneva.
28-29 January   The Community of Latin America and Caribbean States (CELAC) will hold its second summit of heads of state and government in Havana, Cuba.
29 January   The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will hold a Caribbean Sustainable Energy Road Map and Strategy (C-SERMS) Platform Meeting at CARICOM Secretariat Headquarters in Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana.
3-4 February   The UN Environment Programme (UNEP), FIA Foundation and Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will co-host the Regional Meeting on Cleaner Fuels and More Efficient Vehicles: Reducing Emissions in the Caribbean in Kingston, Jamaica. The Meeting will discuss steps needed to promote cleaner, low-sulfur fuels and cleaner vehicles among CARICOM nations.
11-12 February   The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) will host the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Technical Assistance (REETA) Project Planning Workshop at CARICOM Secretariat Headquarters in Turkeyen, Greater Georgetown, Guyana. REETA is a four-year project funded by the German Government to help the 15 CARICOM nations move toward renewable energy energy saving technologies, including solar, wind, bio and hydro power. The Planning Workshop will provide member states an opportunity to identify priority areas they want support through the project.
